Punjab govt should issues advisory on species to planted in various types of soil & climatic clusters of Punjab

As plantation season is going to come in July and all over Punjab people including NGO’s are going to plant trees and other saplings in villages and cities. It is suggested that a message from the Forest Department should go about advicing people on the species and types of plants should be planted in various districts of Punjab to increase green cover. Also mention the water guzzling plants and other plants to be avoided. The advisory should make recommendations based on urban and rural areas to Municipal and Rural Development departments. Punjab should be divided in Plantation specific cluster may be having more than one district. The advisory should be based on climate type,soil type and water table availability. The traditional plants to be planted should be made available to the citizens by forest department and other government nurseries. People should be made aware ੧. ਰੁੱਖ ਲਾਉਣਾ,੨ ਸਾਂਭਣਾ,੩ ਵੱਡਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ੪ ਬਚਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਰ ਅੱਡ ਅੱਡ ਕੰਮ ਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਨੂੰ ਘੱਟ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ 8 ਰੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਾਉਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਹਰਿਆਵਲ % 3.67 % ਤੋਂ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ 13% ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਬੀੜਾ ਚੁੱਕਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
