All aided, unaided and private colleges of the district were closed on Wednesday as Non-Government Aided Colleges Management Federation (NGCMF), Principal Associations and Punjab Chandigarh Colleges Teachers Union (PCCTU) formed a joint action committee to protest against the policies of the Punjab government.
